Eriko Nakamura

<Gemologist Profile>
Eriko Nakamura was born into a family of business owners in Okegawa City, Saitama Prefecture. Inspired by her parents’ dedication to their work, she joined Toyo Co., Ltd. after graduating from university. While studying pharmacy at university, she aspired to one day inherit the company her parents had built. To prepare for this, she pursued further studies in business management and explored gemology, a field cherished by both her grandmother and mother.

In 2024, she earned the FGA qualification (Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain), widely regarded as one of the most challenging and prestigious certifications in gemology.

That same year, she joined the Toyo Loose division of Toyo Co., Ltd., focusing on gemstone operations.

Pursuing Gemology: Earned the FGA Certification from Gem-A

After studying at Gem-A, the world's oldest and most prestigious gemological association, Eriko successfully earned the FGA qualification (Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain) in November 2024, widely regarded as one of the most challenging certifications in gemology.

Gemstones have the power to bring smiles to everyone. At Toyo Loose, we are dedicated to realizing our vision of “Illuminating the World with Gemstones, Creating a World Overflowing with Smiles.” We look forward to your continued support of Toyo Loose.
